In recent years we have developed several Geothermal Response Tests to know the calorific behavior of the ground in each specific case and achieve a sustainable operation over time of the geothermal system implemented.

For installations with powers higher than 30 kW, it is necessary to carry out this test. According to VDI guideline 4640, this allows to guarantee and contrast the known theoretical characteristics thanks to the measurement of the conductivity and thermal resistance of the sounding.

The advantage of this device is to determine the conditions of the practically unaltered ground, where all the influential factors are appreciated along the length of the geothermal probe, being able to take advantage of this drilling in the field of later capture.

The realization of the Geothermal Response Test will be associated with a specific geothermal simulation carried out by our engineering team to carry out an optimal design of the collection field.
